About BoxToBox

Most fantasy scoring reduces a 90-minute performance down to a handful of moments — a goal, an assist, maybe a clean sheet. Everything else that actually wins matches disappears completely.

BoxToBox was built to fix that. It’s a fantasy scoring system designed around one idea: soccer is decided by everything that happens on the pitch, not just what makes the highlight reel.

This wasn’t designed in a boardroom. It was built, argued over, and refined across real seasons with a real league of friends who wanted a format that actually reflected the sport they watch every week — not a simplified version of it.

Draft your team. Score the whole game.

The name has three main meanings to it:

1. A box-to-box midfielder is a central soccer player who runs constantly between both penalty areas to contribute equally to defense and attack. This is the kind of player that represents what the scoring system is designed to capture: actions across the entire pitch, not just the main events.
2. A box score is a detailed table that summarizes the final score and individual player statistics for a sports game. This represents the engine behind every fantasy matchup — it is a box score to box score game.
3. Finally, we aim to be as thorough in providing a quality game and experience for our users, checkbox to checkbox. Here are some boxes we have checked so far:

• All five of Europe's top leagues, one draft — Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, and Ligue 1, combined into a single player pool
• A scoring system tested, not guessed — stress-tested across 10+ historical seasons to make sure it actually reflects real quality, at every position
• True redraft, unique ownership — a fresh snake draft every season, no two managers ever share a player
• Real head-to-head, every week — not just a leaderboard chase, a genuine matchup against a rival every gameweek
• A trade market that's actually yours to work — negotiate directly with your league, no algorithm approving your moves
• A live free agent pool — waivers and pickups, so the draft is never the last decision that matters
• No 10 friends? No problem — open public leagues you can join instantly, no invite required
• Free. No paywall. Ever. — the core game will never cost you anything to play

We’re just getting started — more boxes are getting checked all the time.
