The honest catch
It's better with a full group. If only one or two friends are in, you can join an open public league.

Yes. You can draft now and play from the current gameweek, or join the list for next season and start from day one.
"How long does it run?"
A full season runs August to May, but your league sets it up: an American setup with playoffs, a European-style table, or your own custom schedule.
